The new IIM was able to invite many companies on campus for its first batch. The batch size being small at 66. The average salary is comparable to any good B-School in the country.
Marketing profiles were majorly offered to the students. About 40% of the batch has taken sales and marketing as a career. Finance was the second best. Yes Bank offered 6 profiles maximum by any recruiter.
The average salary stood highest for Finance profiles. This may be because of the incentives involved in profiles like investment banking, equity brokerage etc.General management got the lowest average but was comparable to the elite b-schools of India.
